Professionals, and individuals.
Our
Therapy Instructors are NARHA certified, Registered Instructors
or Instructors in Training . Our staff follows the NARHA standards
and guidelines and is a Member Center of that organization.
CHAPS features an indoor and outdoor arena, as well as several hundred acres on a working ranch to ride on and enjoy. Our facility includes a 6 stall stable, with a heated office and handicap-accessible bathroom, grooming areas and a feed and tack room. During the winter, we rent a classroom from the Sheridan County Recreation District to ‘stable’ Elliott Equicizer, a generous gift from the Sheirdan Elks PBO Lodge 520 and First Federal Savings Bank, so that we can provide ‘mounted’ sessions even on the coldest winter day.
CHAPS offers therapeutic riding to over 40 clients every week thanks to the generous support of our community. We always appreciate the help of trained volunteers to keep sessions safe and effective, and are grateful for financial support to directly benefit participants in the form of scholarships.
